Foster Placement Needed

At Paws of the Pines Rescue, we operate as a foster-based organization, relying entirely on the commitment of devoted foster families to bring new animals into our care. This model allows us to provide safe, loving environments for each animal in need while we work to find them forever homes. Currently, we have a diverse array of animals awaiting foster commitments, from playful puppies to gentle senior pups, each eager for a chance to thrive in a nurturing setting. Your willingness to open your home to these animals plays a crucial role in helping us save and rehabilitate lives.

Belle is a 3-year-old, 45lb pointer mix with higher energy who loves to run and play in the yard. A fenced yard is strongly preferred so she can safely burn off energy. She does best with large dogs who understand personal space. She can occasionally resource guard, so structure and supervision around high-value items are important. Belle is incredibly friendly and goofy but can become overwhelmed in chaotic or overcrowded environments. A calm, structured home helps her thrive. She is affectionate, playful, and bonds well, she just needs consistency, clear boundaries, and a foster willing to continue reinforcing her training.
