Foster Placement Needed
At Paws of the Pines Rescue, we operate as a foster-based organization, relying entirely on the commitment of devoted foster families to bring new animals into our care. This model allows us to provide safe, loving environments for each animal in need while we work to find them forever homes. Currently, we have a diverse array of animals awaiting foster commitments, from playful puppies to gentle senior pups, each eager for a chance to thrive in a nurturing setting. Your willingness to open your home to these animals plays a crucial role in helping us save and rehabilitate lives.

Gender of animal(s): Female
Spayed/Neutered: Yes
Age of animal(s): 3yrs +/-
Dog Friendly: Selective
Cat Friendly: NO
Child Friendly: Yes
House Trained: Yes
Additional Info Known:Star is a sweet and loyal black Lab mix with a heart full of love. She’s been a wonderful companion in her current home, but recently she’s been getting into occasional altercations with the other female dog in the household. While Star is not the one starting these conflicts, we believe she would thrive in a calmer environment—possibly as the only dog or with a well-matched companion.
To ensure the best fit, we strongly recommend a meet-and-greet before a foster commitment. Star is eager for a peaceful place where she can shine, and she just might be your perfect match!
